Jennifer Kim

Jennifer Kim has over two decades of work experience in the legal field. Jennifer currently serves as the Director of the Immigrant Justice Project at the City Bar Justice Center, where they have been involved since 2003. Prior to their current role, they served as the Co-Director of the Immigrant Justice Project and Director of the Refugee Assistance Project. In addition to their work at the City Bar Justice Center, Jennifer is also a member of the Immigration & Naturalization Committee at the New York City Bar and has been involved with the organization since 2012. Jennifer has also been actively involved in various organizations within the Korean American community, serving on the Board of Directors for the MinKwon Center for Community Action and Korean Americans for Political Advancement. Jennifer started their legal career as a Litigation Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and has also interned at the Federal Defender Division of the Legal Aid Society. Throughout their career, Jennifer has focused on addressing the legal needs of marginalized communities, particularly in the areas of immigration and civil rights.

Jennifer Kim attended Princeton University from 1992 to 1995. Jennifer then went on to study at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where they obtained their J.D. degree between 1996 and 1999.
