Lydia Aponte-Villa

Lydia Aponte-Villa, SHRM-CP, serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer at the New York City Housing Development Corporation since November 2018, where strategic leadership is provided to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion within the organization. Prior roles include Director of Talent Management at PAVE Academy Charter School, managing HR processes for over 100 staff members, and various positions at the NYC Department of Social Services, from Human Resources Associate to Human Resources Business Partner, overseeing significant personnel service budgets. Lydia holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College.
