Director Of Media & Communications Campaigns at New York Civil Liberties Union

Arianna Fishman has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Arianna currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Communications Campaigns & Strategy at the New York Civil Liberties Union since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Communications Strategist and Media Strategist at the same organization from September 2021 to January 2022 and October 2020 to September 2021, respectively.

Before joining the New York Civil Liberties Union, Arianna was employed at the NYC Department of Homeless Services as a Press Secretary from March 2019 to September 2020. Arianna also served as the Deputy Press Secretary from June 2017 to March 2019.

Arianna gained experience in communications consultancy working as a Communications Consultant at the New York City Commission on Human Rights from December 2016 to May 2017.

Arianna has contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Human Rights Law at Columbia University in the City of New York from September 2016 to December 2016.

During the summer of 2016, Arianna worked as a Policy and Communications Associate at the Mayor's Office for International Affairs within the City of New York.

Arianna has also held positions in the non-profit sector, working as a Program Assistant at WITNESS from April 2016 to June 2016 and as a Research Analyst at the United Nations Development Programme from November 2015 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Research Analyst at the United Nations from February 2016 to April 2016.

Arianna gained experience in political campaign strategy as a Political Campaign Strategist at Bully Pulpit Interactive from July 2013 to July 2015.

Arianna began their professional career as a Research Assistant in East Asian Studies at Wesleyan University from December 2012 to June 2013.

Arianna Fishman obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in College of Social Studies (CSS) and French Studies from Wesleyan University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2011, they also spent a year at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle studying Communications. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia | SIPA, which they completed between 2015 and 2017.
