Sebastian Krueger has extensive work experience in the field of communications and advocacy. Sebastian served as the Communications Director at the New York Civil Liberties Union since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Communications Director from June 2016 to December 2021 and Interim Communications Director from June 2017 to April 2018. Before joining the NYCLU, Sebastian worked as a Communications Officer at the Open Society Foundations from October 2012 to May 2016, where they were responsible for strategic communications related to public health. Sebastian also has experience as a Grant Writer at the City Parks Foundation from April 2011 to April 2012 and as a Special Gifts Coordinator at the ACLU from April 2006 to January 2010. Sebastian began their career as a Freelance Journalist at WNYC Radio from November 2004 to May 2006.
Sebastian Krueger attended New York University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
