Kevin Abrams

SVP, Football Operations & Strategy at New York Giants

Abrams, an indispensable and versatile member of the Giants' front office for more than two decades, was named the team's senior vice president of football operations & strategy.

Abrams, 50, is entering his 24th season with the Giants. He was a salary cap analyst for three seasons and has been the team's assistant general manager for 20 years. Abrams added the title of vice president of football operations in 2018.

Abrams has worked with the college scouting and pro personnel departments, has been responsible for strategic planning related to football operations, compliance with the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement, Data & Innovation, managed the salary cap and negotiated player contracts.

When Abrams joined the organization in July 1999, he filled the newly created salary cap analyst position under general manager Ernie Accorsi.

Abrams came to the Giants from the NFL Management Council, where he helped to monitor the league-wide salary cap and analyzed all new player contracts with respect to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Prior to working at the Management Council, Abrams completed internships and graduate work in player personnel, recruiting, public relations and corporate relations with Washington (Commanders), the Ohio University football program, the Buffalo Bills and the London Monarchs.

Abrams was raised in Toronto, Canada. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and earned his master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University.
