Smita Agarkar, MD, CPE, FAAPL, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine, where Smita has held various titles since September 2006. Smita also serves as a Physician Leader and Service Chief at Gracie Square Hospital and as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. With a background in clinical research in Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Smita has an extensive educational background, including a Fellowship in American Association of Physician Leadership and a Residency in Psychiatry at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center and Columbia University Medical Center.
