Alyssa Van Haasteren began their career in the hotel industry as an Intern/Employee at Brittain Resort Management in March 2012. During their time there, they gained knowledge and skills in various departments such as front office, housekeeping, sales, and reservations. Alyssa also developed a strong understanding of guest satisfaction in a hotel environment.
In August 2014, Alyssa joined New York Hilton Midtown as an Assistant Front Office Manager. Over the years, they progressed within the company, holding roles such as Guest Relations Manager, Assistant Director of Front Office, and Senior Assistant Director of Operations. Their most recent position was Director of Front Office Operations, which they started in May 2022.
Alyssa Van Haasteren completed their Bachelor's degree in Resort Tourism Management from Coastal Carolina University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
