Jason Mandolesi

National Scout at New York Jets

Jason Mandolesi is in his 19th year with the New York Jets and sixth as a national scout after spending nine years as an area scout, covering the majority of the country, including the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Southwest regions.

Previously, Mandolesi spent three years as the coordinator of college scouting, where he was responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the college scouting department regarding scouts' scheduling, university relations and processing and organizing the information gathered on draft-eligible players.

In 2004, his first season with the Jets, Mandolesi was an assistant in the Jets video department. The following season (2005), he joined the coaching staff as a defensive assistant, compiling breakdowns of opposing offenses, assisting with coaching linebackers and assembling weekly playbooks.

Before the Jets, Mandolesi spent two years as an intern for the New England video department, during which time the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVIII.
