David Yu

David Yu is a seasoned professional in data science and geospatial analysis, currently serving as the CVP, Geospatial Data Science Lead at New York Life Insurance Company since April 2023. Prior to this role, David was a Senior Data Scientist at Esri from February 2019 to April 2023, focusing on the application of deep learning techniques for GIS problem-solving. Previous positions include Data Science Intern at Esri, Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside, Software Developer Intern at Microsoft, and Technology Analyst at Snapask. David holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from The University of Hong Kong.
