Avery Griffin

Teaching Artist at New York Philharmonic

Avery Griffin is an accomplished musician and teaching artist active in various roles since 2005. Avery serves as a Teaching Artist at the New York Philharmonic, instructing fourth graders in music composition, and at Songcatchers, Inc. for students aged eight to fourteen. As a choral baritone, Avery performs with the Carmel Bach Festival, St. Thomas Church, and the Boston Microtonal Society, showcasing a diverse repertoire. Previous experience includes composing for ensembles and serving as a vocal instructor at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Avery holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Boston University, completed in 2006.
