Joe Guimaraes

Joe Guimaraes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Joe began their career as a Computer Technician at the National Cristina Foundation in 1992 before moving on to PCR - Personal Computer Rentals, where they worked as a Warehouse Manager and Senior Technician. At Xerox Metro Document Center, Joe served as a Technical Leader and Advanced Administrator, managing server deployment and support activities. Joe then joined E-Sync networks, inc as a Senior Consultant, working on projects for Pepsi Bottling Group. Joe later joined PepsiCo and held various roles, including Messaging Specialist, Infrastructure Support Lead, and Business Relationship Management Specialist. In their most recent position at the New York Power Authority, Joe served as a Lead System Administrator, overseeing the administration of the company's software portfolio and implementing new applications.

Joe Guimaraes earned an A.A.S. degree in Computer Security and Forensics from SUNY Westchester Community College in 2008-2009. Joe also completed a Technical Certification program in Information Technology. In 1992-1993, they pursued a degree in Computer Technology with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at the Southern Westchester Center in Valhalla, NY. Besides their formal education, Joe has obtained additional certifications, including "Installing and Running WordPress: Shared Hosting" from LinkedIn and "IoT - Maximo Asset Management" from IBM.
