Digital Audio Network Engineer at New York Public Radio

Steven Gangaram has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Steven started their career as a Computer Technician at the U.S. Department of Education from January 2009 to January 2013. Steven then worked as a Freelance/Contract Electrical Technician from January 2013 to December 2020, where they designed and installed wiring systems for homes and managed material requirements to reduce work hours. In 2012, they joined BC as a Live Sound Engineer, specializing in audio production, maintenance of audio systems, and reducing reproduction issues. Currently, since April 2021, they are employed at New York Public Radio as a Digital Audio Network Engineer.

Steven Gangaram's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Engineering Technology from CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Sciences - AAS degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their degrees, Steven also holds certifications. In January 2019, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification from TestOut Corporation. In January 2018, they obtained the Dante L1 - L3 Certified certification from Audinate.
