Matthew Mosher has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Matthew started their career as an Intern at YNN Buffalo at Time Warner Cable in 2009, where they gained experience in video editing and news production. Matthew then worked as a Life Desk Editor at The Spectrum Newspaper, University at Buffalo, overseeing writers and photographers and ensuring quality content. Mosher later served as the Managing Editor at The Spectrum, where they edited articles and contributed to online content creation. In 2010, they worked as an Operations Technician at YNN Buffalo, handling equipment maintenance and video editing tasks. Mosher transitioned to a Sales Associate role at Bert's Bikes and Fitness in 2011 before moving on to the automotive industry. Matthew worked as a Sales and Leasing Consultant at Basil Ford of Niagara Falls and West Herr Automotive Group, developing their sales skills and receiving certifications. From 2017 to 2023, Mosher joined Spectrum as a Producer, where they were responsible for creating newscasts, managing content, and training new producers and interns. Their most recent role is Director of Communications at the New York State Senate, starting in 2023.

Matthew Mosher completed their education in two institutions. Matthew first attended Niagara County Community College from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S) degree in Communications and Media Arts. Following this, they enrolled at the University at Buffalo from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
