Liren Wei has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Liren served as the President of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) and was actively involved in their various committees, including the SEC Practice Committee and the Peer Review Committee. Liren also held leadership roles as the President-Elect, Vice President, Chair, and Vice Chair of the Peer Review Committee at NYSSCPA. Additionally, they were a Director at NYSSCPA and the President of the Queens/Brooklyn Chapter. Liren also served as a Director at the Flushing Chinese Business Association and held the position of Managing Partner at Wei, Wei & Co., LLP, an accounting firm with offices in New York, California, and China. Liren was also involved in the Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc. as the Director. Liren's experience extends to their role as a Member of the PICPA Peer Review Committee and their involvement with China Integrated Energy, Inc. (CBEH) as the Audit Committee Chairman and Independent Director. Liren also held the position of National V.P. of External Affairs at Ascend, a non-profit professional association, and served as the President of the Chinese American Society of CPAs (CASCPAs).
Liren Wei completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Baruch College, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they studied Dentistry at Taipei Medical University from 1980 to 1986. Additionally, they received the "Certified Public Accountant" certification from the New York State Education Department in August 1994 and the "Chartered Global Management Accountant" certification from the AICPA in November 2014.
