Karen Eckhaus

Karen Eckhaus is an experienced professional in operations and project management, currently serving as the Manager of Operations at the New York Transit Museum since April 2022. Prior to this role, Karen held positions including Manager of Attraction and Design at Holographic Amusements LLC and Head of Operations at MICRO LLC. Additionally, Karen has extensive experience in visitor engagement and operations, having worked as the Senior Director of Operations and Visitor Engagement at the International Center of Photography and as the Director of Student Services at The New York Botanical Garden. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Project Management from Cornell University, a PostGraduate Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, and a BA in Cultural Geography/Anthropology from Southern Connecticut State University, among other credentials.
