Vamsee Kanagala

Vamsee Kanagala is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Head of Technology at KiwiRail since January 2020, where responsibilities include providing technical leadership and coordinating project delivery across various ICT teams and vendors. Previously, Vamsee held multiple roles at Spark New Zealand from February 2016 to January 2020, including Agile Chapter Lead for Digital Workplace and Senior Systems Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions. Vamsee's career began at KiwiRail as an ICT Technical Engineer from August 2005 to February 2016, and earlier experience includes working as a Technical Coach at TeleTech. Vamsee holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Information Systems from Unitec | Te Pūkenga, obtained between 2000 and 2003.
