Karla Gilliam

Karla Gilliam has extensive experience in the education and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Dean of Curriculum and Online Learning, along with holding roles as Instructional Specialist/QEP Director and Director of Clinical Education at Piedmont Technical College since January 2005, Karla has contributed significantly to academic programs. In addition, Karla has worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Newberry County Memorial Hospital since February 2019, and previously held the same position at the same institution from June 2002 to December 2009. Karla's entrepreneurial experience includes serving as an Independent Distributor for Young Living Essential Oils from May 2017 to June 2020, achieving the rank of Star. Karla's educational background includes a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care Administration, both from American InterContinental University, as well as an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care Therapy from Piedmont Technical College.
