Stella Link

Stella Link has extensive experience in writing and transcription, currently serving as a Volunteer Transcriptionist at The Newberry since August 2018, where old manuscripts and letters are made accessible to the public. As a creative writer since childhood, Stella has maintained a self-employed writing career while also working as an independent contractor to create a women's business directory and assist with data entry at Link's Business Data from December 2019 to March 2021. Previous roles include cashier at Harbor Freight Tools, proofreader and writer for freelance clients, and office administrator for Powerton Station/Graycor Construction through Kelly Services. Stella has contributed freelance articles to The Community Word and held leadership positions with the Tazewell County Jaycees. As the owner of Starry Midnight Artistic Creations, Stella has explored various artistic media. Stella holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Eastern Illinois University and is pursuing a Business Specialist Certificate at Illinois Central College.
