Jo Houghton

Jo Houghton currently serves as Vice Principal for Higher Education and Skills at Newbury College, a position held since September 2023. Prior roles at Newbury College include Director of Business and Partnerships from November 2018 to September 2023, and Adult Funding and Contracts Manager from October 2010 to October 2018. Jo Houghton also worked as the Workplace Learning and Quality Manager from February 2008 to October 2010. Prior to Newbury College, experience includes serving as Head of Equine Studies at Berkshire College of Agriculture from 2004 to 2007 and as a graduate from the University of Reading from 2001 to 2004. Jo Houghton holds a Doctor of Education - EdD in Education - Learning Leadership and Policy from the University of Bristol (2010-2018), a Graduate Diploma in Law from Guildford College of Law (2006-2007), and a PGCE in Education (Post 16) from the University of Greenwich (2005-2006).
