Chris Young is a Performance Analyst with extensive experience in informatics and insights specifically within children's social care and public health intelligence at Newcastle City Council since February 2020. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Karbon Homes, focusing on strategic planning and analyzing the effects of welfare reform and Universal Credit. Chris's career includes a significant role at Public Health England as the Local NDTMS Quality Assurance and Development Lead, serving the Yorkshire & Humber and North East regions. Additionally, Chris has experience in freelance social research, data analysis, and GIS, as well as positions with the NHS and during the London 2012 Olympics. Chris holds a BSc in Geography from The University of Manchester and an MSc in Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy from the University of Nottingham.
