Gus Santos

Gus Santos serves as an Education Advocate at NEWESD 101 since May 2022, building upon a diverse background in educational and youth services. Prior experience includes program management at Volunteers of America from August 2018 to May 2022, and a brief tenure as Club Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of America where infrastructure for a new club in Dayton was established. Additional roles encompassed Program Support Specialist and Youth Development Professional with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, CTE Specialist/One on One D.I. Aide at Spokane Public Schools, and Film Teacher and Teen Program Leader at YMCA of the Inland Northwest. Early experience includes working as a Lifeguard and Camp Counselor at Hidden Valley Camp. Gus Santos holds a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Whitworth University.
