Jason McPherson

Jason McPherson currently serves as a Threat Assessment Coordinator for NEWESD 101 since December 2021, bringing extensive experience in youth advocacy and education. Concurrently, Jason has volunteered as a Dependency/CASA Volunteer for Spokane County Juvenile Court since April 2013, representing the best interests of children involved in Dependency Court. Previous roles include Juvenile Probation Counselor II and Juvenile Corrections Officer at Spokane County, contributing to juvenile rehabilitation and courtroom processes. Jason's educational background includes a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies Teacher Education from Eastern Washington University and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching. Additional experience includes substitute teaching, summer school teaching, and a stint with the security team at Spokane Indians Baseball Club.
