Jackie (Crone) Kretz

Jackie (Crone) Kretz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position is as an Assistant Director of Member and Donor Engagement at Newfields, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Marian University Indianapolis where they held multiple roles. Jackie was a Director of Advancement Communications from August 2021 to August 2022, responsible for directing fundraising communications strategies and producing digital and print content. From November 2018 to August 2021, they were a Manager of Advancement Communications, and from March 2014 to November 2018, they were a Writer/Editor.

Before joining Marian University Indianapolis, Jackie worked as a Freelance Blogger at CHEFScatalog.com from 2013 to 2015. Jackie also served as the Director of Education Programs at the Executive Service Corps of Indianapolis from 1998 to 2001, overseeing educational programming and managing member volunteers.

Earlier in their career, Jackie worked as an Account Executive at Pillow Express Delivery from April 1996 to August 1998. Their responsibilities included developing new business and providing customer service for clients such as Eli Lilly and St. Vincent Hospitals. Jackie also recruited and trained employees and drivers.

Jackie started their career as an English and Journalism Teacher at Merrillville High School from August 1991 to December 1995. Jackie taught various English classes and served as the adviser for the school yearbook, newspaper, and literary magazine. Additionally, they conducted Classroom Management training for new teachers.
