Juliano Palma

Juliano Palma has extensive work experience in various roles related to supply development, quality management, and process improvement. Juliano is currently working at New Flyer as the Director of Global Supply Development since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Quality at Proterra Inc from March 2022 to March 2023. From 2015 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Supplier Development at NFI Group Inc. Before that, they worked at Navistar Inc as the Senior Manager of Process Improvement and Program Manager in Global Quality Liaison roles from 2005 to 2015. Juliano also had experience as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at MWM INTERNATIONAL from 2002 to 2005 and as a Manufacturing Team Leader at John Deere from 1998 to 2002.

Juliano Palma obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria in the years 1993 to 1997. Juliano then pursued a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2000 to 2002. Later, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, during the years 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Juliano Palma holds certifications as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the University of Illinois Chicago.
