Ryan Chaulk

Ryan Chaulk has a diverse work experience in various roles. Ryan began their career as a Trail Guide at Carmanville Habitat Committee in 2015, where they provided information to customers and developed reports. In 2016, they worked as an ECHO Student at Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador, focusing on public speaking projects and customer service. In 2017, they continued with Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador as a Green Team Member, implementing project strategies and working in a team structure. In 2018, they joined Marine Industrial Lighting Systems Ltd as a Design Technologist Student, assisting in lighting calculations and creating technical documents. Ryan also worked at XL Group Ltd as an Electrical Engineering Technologist Student, where they contributed to the design of telecommunication systems using AutoCAD. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Atlantic XL Inc. as a Telecommunications Technician, responsible for telecommunication equipment installation, design changes, and ensuring compliance with offshore oil and gas regulations. Recently, in 2022, they joined Newfoundland Power as an Engineering Technologist.

Ryan Chaulk completed their high school education at Phoenix Academy from 2002 to 2015, earning a High School Diploma. Ryan then pursued further education at the College of the North Atlantic from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (Power and Controls). In addition to their formal education, Ryan also obtained certifications in Emergency First Aid/CPR C/AED and Standard First Aid/CPR A/AED from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in June and April 2017, respectively.
