Anthony Neumann

Anthony Neumann is a seasoned molecular biologist with extensive experience in microbiology and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Molecular Biology Manager at NewLeaf Symbiotics, Inc., since July 2020, Anthony previously held the position of Research Scientist at Matatu, Inc., where the focus was on the ecology and genomics of gastrointestinal microorganisms in livestock. From 2011 to 2018, Anthony earned a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, developing innovative culture methods and applying advanced sequencing techniques. Previous roles include Project Scientist at Danisco and AGTech, where Anthony coordinated research on microbial strains and developed PCR assays. Anthony began a career in microbiology as a research intern at Agtech Products, gaining foundational laboratory skills.
