Chuck Burns

Chuck Burns has extensive experience in health and safety management within the mining industry, currently serving as the Capital Projects H&S Manager at Newmont GoldCorp Mining Corporation since April 2016. In this role, Chuck manages health and safety for four ongoing capital projects, including a mill expansion and a water treatment plant, alongside early stage work for a green fields project. Previously, Chuck worked at Newmont Mining Corporation for over 15 years, holding positions such as Health & Safety Manager and Ahafo Operations HSLP Manager, where oversight was provided for a large department supporting mining operations involving approximately 4,000 employees and contractors.
