Karen Brooks

Karen Brooks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and internal audit. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management Systems at Newmont Corporation since September 2018, Karen focuses on identifying risks, establishing standards, and ensuring the effectiveness of risk controls, which are essential to the company's strategic objectives. Prior roles include Director of Internal Audit at Red Robin, Vice President of Internal Audit at tw telecom, and Vice President of Internal Audit at TeleTech, along with significant auditing experience at Arthur Andersen. Karen holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Accountancy from RMIT University, earned between 1991 and 1994.
