Vir J has worked in the recruitment and sourcing industry since 2013. In 2013, Vir J began their career as a Recruiting Sourcer at Braves Technologies, where they generated a technical candidate pool for career opportunities through strategic placement of advertisements, evaluation of applicant credentials, and conducting initial interviews and pre-screening assessments. They also leveraged social media platforms and online job boards to advertise open positions and engage with software development candidates. In 2015, Vir J joined Axcel Support Services Private Limited as a Recruiting Sourcer and was responsible for partnering with Tech leaders to understand hiring needs for Mobile application development and creating recruiting and sourcing plans. They also performed market research and generated insights for Mobile tech industry trends and communicated with hiring teams to take better hiring decisions. In 2022, Vir J moved to NewPage Solutions as a Sr. Recruiter, where they were responsible for end to end recruitment cycle for in-house technical requirements. They were also responsible for talent sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews and onboarding, and worked extensively on LinkedIn Recruiter, Angel Co, Boolean Xray tools etc.
