Joshua Close, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Joshua worked at Newpark as the Director of Finance, Fluids NAM, where they provided financial management and reporting for 9 regional business units with annual revenues exceeding $300M. Prior to this, they served as a Business Unit Controller at Newpark and as a Business Unit Financial Analyst.

Before joining Newpark, Joshua worked at Macro Solutions as a Systems Expert II, where they provided financial management support for a large technology-based Department of Defense (DoD) client. Joshua was responsible for managing technology procurement contracts totaling over $230M annually.

Additionally, Joshua gained valuable experience at Lockheed Martin as a Multi-Functional Financial Analyst Senior Staff, supporting a large DoD client in managing technology procurement contracts. Joshua also worked at Deloitte as an Associate 6 and at BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant, focusing on providing financial consulting services.

Joshua started their career at KPMG as a Senior Management Analyst. Their solid experience in financial management, budgeting, and analysis makes him a qualified CPA with a diverse skill set.

Joshua Close, CPA, obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of West Florida in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the same university in 1998. Joshua also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (obtained in December 2023) and the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (obtained in November 2021).
