Greg Whitaker

Digital Marketing Strategist at New Pig Corporation

Greg Whitaker has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Greg started their career as the Director of Marketing at Stuckey Ford and Stuckey Subaru, where they handled all aspects of marketing and advertising for the dealerships. Greg then went on to establish their own advertising and marketing consulting business called GW Design, where they planned media expenditures, negotiated media buys, and developed scripts and storyboards for radio and television spots.

Greg then transitioned to the role of Marketing Director at Hollidaysburg Area YMCA, where they developed brand-consistent materials and redesigned the organization's website. Greg also served as the Director of Community Relations at Blair Senior Services, where they were responsible for writing and distributing press releases and making presentations to community groups.

In 2009, Greg joined GTL as a Product Marketing Manager, where they handled digital marketing and marketing automation. Greg also provided design and copywriting for product literature and managed the corporate website. Greg continued with GTL's subsidiary, Global*Tel Link, until 2018.

Most recently, Greg worked at New Pig as a Digital Marketing Strategist, where they led marketing automation initiatives and worked extensively with the SAP Marketing Cloud solution to enhance personalization and customer outreach. Prior to that, they led the email team at New Pig, driving innovation in customer messaging.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated their expertise in marketing, communications, public relations, and design.

Greg Whitaker obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from West Virginia University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they graduated from Jefferson High School in 1995. Greg also attended Falls Church High School from 1991 to 1992. In terms of certifications, they completed the "Machine Learning for Marketing: Essential Training" and "Strategic Thinking" courses at LinkedIn in May 2019. Additionally, they obtained an "Effective Product Marketing Course" certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) in September 2009.
