Simon Grayson

Simon Grayson has significant experience in both football and IT, currently serving as a Senior Talent Scout for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club since October 2015 and as a First Team Scout for Newport County AFC since March 2023. Grayson holds a UEFA B coaching qualification and has been involved in coaching since 2013. Prior to their football career, Grayson worked in IT, serving as an IT Manager at HSBC IT from July 1996 to March 2020, where responsibilities included managing the Finance Transformation Programme Infrastructure Upgrade, as well as developing systems at CIS and Yorkshire Bank. Grayson's football career includes roles as a professional footballer with Hartlepool United FC and Sheffield United PLC, where Simon began as an apprenticeship.
