Taylor R. Dunphy M.d.

Taylor R. Dunphy, M.D., currently serves as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Newport Orthopedic Institute and Hoag Orthopedic Institute since September 2018, specializing in minimally invasive surgeries for the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, and is involved with the NFL Total Wellness Program. Previously, Taylor completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship at Keck Medicine of USC, assisting as a team physician for various USC Trojan athletic teams, and gained experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with Kaiser Permanente. Taylor's extensive training includes an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Keck School of Medicine of USC, where significant surgical and leadership skills were developed while serving a complex population. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
