Adrian Thompson

Adrian Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Adrian started their career at Event Cinemas in 2002 as a Duty Manager and worked there until 2010. Adrian then transitioned to Spoon Entertainment, where they served as the Owner from 2010 to 2015. Adrian also worked at KPMG Australia as an Assistant Manager from 2010 to 2013 before moving to KPMG UK as an Assistant Manager from 2013 to 2015. Adrian returned to KPMG Australia and held roles as Manager from 2015 to 2017 and Senior Manager from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Adrian works at News Corp Australia, where they have held positions as Group Finance Manager from 2018 to 2019, Head of Financial Reporting from 2019 to 2021, Head of FP&A - Reporting from 2021 to 2023, and currently serves as the Head of Finance - Commercial Content.

Adrian Thompson completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
