Katie Eastman

Katie Eastman is an accomplished multimedia journalist with extensive experience in storytelling and news reporting across various prestigious media outlets. Currently serving as the Manager of Storytelling at News On 6 since August 2023, Katie previously worked as a Reporter/MMJ at KUSA-TV, where contributions included live reporting in high-pressure environments and recognition as a frequent NPPA Quarterly Contest award winner. Notable achievements include two Emmy Awards for excellence in video journalism while at Boston Herald, where Katie also produced and anchored a talk show. Katie's early career included pivotal roles at WOI-TV, EIV News, and internships at WGN-TV, showcasing a strong commitment to broadcast journalism rooted in a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College.
