James Larvin

James Larvin is a seasoned broadcast professional with extensive experience in engineering and production roles. Currently serving as the Lead Broadcast Operations Engineer at News UK since August 2018, James has also held various positions within the company, including Broadcast and Visualisation Engineer and Broadcast and Systems Engineer. Prior to News UK, experiences include Sound Engineer & Studio Manager at Monocle, Junior Engineer & Programming Assistant at VIBE 107.6 FM, and Producer & Head of Social Media at Smoke Radio. Additional roles include Producer at Soho Radio, Digital Media Producer for the National Citizen Service, and Feature Producer & News Editor at Zetland FM. James began a radio career as a Presenter at Radio Stitch. Academically, James holds a BA in Radio and Digital Production from the University of Westminster and a degree in Media Production from Middlesbrough College.
