Will Hagerty is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Board Member for the Society of Editors since December 2022. Will has been with News UK since July 1997, holding various significant roles including Associate Editor, Head of Publishing for The Sun, Assistant Editor, and Chief Sub, among others. Throughout the career, Will has led teams in producing compelling newspaper content and implementing impactful campaigns related to environmental awareness and community support. Will began the journalism journey as a reporter at the Evening Gazette, Teesside, in 1989 and holds a Certificate of Journalism from Thomson Newspapers, Newcastle.
