Madeline Roache

Madeline Roache is a Managing Editor, UK, based in London. From 2019 to 2021, Roache worked as a freelance journalist and fact-checker for Time Magazine in London, focusing on politics in Russia and Eastern Europe. She previously reported from Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, and Poland on politics, human rights issues, health, and misinformation for various news sites, including Foreign Policy, The Guardian, and Al Jazeera. She also worked as a content curator for Pocket, an app owned by Mozilla. Roache holds a National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) qualification from the Press Association (the national news agency of the UK and Ireland) and a Master's degree in Russian and post-Soviet politics from University College London.
