Jayashree Arunachalam

Jayashree Arunachalam is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles, currently serving as a Senior Editor at Newslaundry since October 2018, where a previous position as Associate Editor was also held. Prior experience includes working as a Reporter and Copyeditor at Fountain Ink from June 2013 to March 2017, and as a Copyeditor at The Times of India for a brief period in late 2012. Jayashree has also freelanced as a Scriptwriter and held the role of Associate Commissioning Editor at Pearson India from 2011 to 2012. Earlier career stages include serving as a Reporter and Sub-editor at The Hindu between June 2009 and February 2011. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate degree in Print Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stella Maris College.
