Walid Kurchied

Walid Kurchied has been working in the software development industry since 2013, beginning with an internship as an Android Developer Intern at Wholeschool.ie. In 2014, they held an SEO Engineering Internship at Groupon. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they developed REST API's using Java, NodeJs, and other technologies, and gained experience with WebSphere, Gradle, and Mantis. In 2017, Walid joined Topfloor Systems as a Frontend Developer, where they designed and developed prototypes and features using JavaScript ECMA 5 & 6, ReactJS, Redux, Redux-Saga, WebPack, and Sass. In 2020, they became a Frontend Developer at Retail inMotion, where they worked on the development and re-development of features of an online store. Currently, Walid is a Frontend Developer at NewsWhip, where they are building user-faced features and contributing to the improvement of UI and UX features, as well as working on a Sass application for real-time media monitoring.

Walid Kurchied's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the National College of Ireland, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended O'Connell School, North Richmond street,Dublin 1, where they completed their Junior Cert and Leaving Cert from 2004 to 2010.
