Vassilis Dagioglu

Vassilis Dagioglu has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Vassilis started their career at Sybase Software in 1993 and worked as an Information Technology Consultant. In 1994, they transitioned to IBM Global Services/Datablue in a similar role. Vassilis then joined Montgomery Asset Management in 1998 as an Intern in the Trading Group, where they assisted and analyzed equity transactions. Vassilis stayed with the company until it was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2003.

In 1999, Vassilis joined Mellon Capital as a Portfolio Manager, specializing in Asset Allocation. Vassilis held this position until 2010, when they were promoted to Managing Director and Head of Asset Allocation Portfolio Management. In this role, Vassilis had significant responsibilities in managing portfolios and overseeing allocation strategies.

Simultaneously, in 1999, Vassilis also joined BNY Mellon as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management for Multi-Asset Solutions. Vassilis continues to hold this position, contributing their expertise in portfolio management.

Vassilis successfully fulfilled this role until September 2021, when they made a transition to Newton Investment Management Group as the Portfolio Manager and Head of Multi-Asset Solutions Portfolio Management.

Vassilis Dagioglu obtained their High School Diploma with a concentration in Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) from Eniaio Polykladiko Lykeio Aigaleo in 1990. Vassilis then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science with a major in Computer Science (Informatics) at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they completed in 1994. Continuing their education, Vassilis attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from 1997 to 1999. In 2015, they also acquired the Series 3 certification, although the institution that provided this certification is unknown.
