Eugenio Fernandez-Dussaq

Eugenio Fernandez-Dussaq serves as the Director of the Entrepreneur Lab at NewU University since August 2022, focusing on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Additionally, Eugenio holds the position of Professor of Organizational Behavior, designing dynamic courses that integrate innovative teaching methodologies. As CFO and Co-Founder of BSmooth, there is a commitment to transforming organizational management through a people-centric approach. In the nonprofit sector, Eugenio is the President of Centro de Integración Familiar, working to enhance the quality of life for impoverished families in Guatemala, and previously served as Vice-President of Asociación Pro Derecho del Contribuyente to protect taxpayers' rights. Eugenio also has experience as a Finance and Business Developer at CAMSA and was a columnist for Diario La Hora Guatemala, focusing on taxation and corruption. Academic credentials include a Bachelor in Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Louisiana State University and a Master's in Tax Consultancy from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
