Joe Blum

Joe Blum is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Co-Founding Managing Partner, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at NewVest since January 2021, Joe previously held significant positions at Global Infrastructure Partners, including Senior Advisor and Partner, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer from July 2007 to December 2023. As a Partner at Latham & Watkins from August 1986 to June 2007, Joe co-headed the Project Development and Finance Group and managed the London office. Joe's early career includes a fellowship at the Robert Bosch Foundation and serving as Special Assistant to the Director of the FBI. Joe holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and German Language & Literature from Wesleyan University.
