Nyiko Lebogang Shikwambane

Nyiko Lebogang Shikwambane is a Senior Broadcast Journalist at Newzroom Afrika since April 2019, contributing to a leading South African 24-hour TV news channel. Previously, Nyiko co-hosted the talk show "It’s A Feminist Thing" at the Soul City Institute, focusing on contemporary issues in the South African women's movement. Nyiko’s experience also includes serving as a radio presenter at the University of the Witwatersrand and co-hosting the "Rise Talk Show" aimed at empowering young women. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of the Witwatersrand and a National Senior Certificate in Drama and Film Studies from The National School of the Arts.
