Derek Cheung

Derek Cheung began their work experience in 2012 as an Industrial Trainee at HSBC, where they assisted in project management and customized an internal collaboration site. In 2013, they worked part-time as an Application Developer at TFI Digital Media Limited. Derek then joined Powa Technologies in 2014 as a Software Engineer, where they developed a mobile business platform and gained knowledge at the company's headquarters in the UK. In 2015, they became a Senior Mobile Developer at Tai Sang Technology, where they designed and developed an app for real estate and implemented a build automation system. In 2016, Derek worked as a Senior Software Engineer at YEECHOO, where they wrapped the mobile website into a hybrid app and designed the architecture of a native iOS app. Derek then joined STAKK Factory Limited in the same year as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development of the dating app MaskOFF. Lastly, in 2017, Derek joined NEX Team Inc. as a Software Engineer.

Derek Cheung completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Internet and Multimedia Technologies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2010 to 2014.
