Simon Micek

Simon Micek is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Network Operations Engineer at Nex-Tech since June 2021, Simon previously held the position of President and CEO at Vic Innovations, Inc., where focus was on business planning and development aimed at advancing rural America from February 2013 to September 2021. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Police Officer at the Atwood Police Department, where responsibilities included emergency response and patrol. Earlier experience includes serving as an Emergency Dispatcher for Rawlins County Communications, managing critical communications and 911 services, and working as a Networks Administrator for Rawlins County USD #105, where network infrastructure was developed and maintained. Additionally, Simon has experience as an IT Specialist at Decision Weather, Inc., handling computer sales and web design. Educational qualifications include certification as a Law Enforcement Officer from the University of Kansas, along with attendance at Colby Community College and Rawlins County Junior/Senior High.
