Michael Walthers

Michael Walthers is a seasoned professional in the field of information technology and network operations, currently serving as Program Manager for Integrated Network Operations Center at Nexagen Networks, Inc., since September 2021. Walthers oversees a global satellite communication network connecting over 4,000 organizations to the DOD Information Network and ensures the maintenance of a live circuit status portal. Previous roles include Deployment Project Manager at the Network Enterprise Center, where Walthers managed the migration of over 6,000 end user systems to Windows 10, and Chief Knowledge Officer at 5th Signal Command, where employee performance standards were developed and evaluated. With additional experience as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager and Director of IT Plans, Walthers has consistently provided technical expertise and project management across various military and IT initiatives. Walthers holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
