Sam Wilson

Sam Wilson is the current Director of Sales Development at NexHealth. Prior to this, they were Sr. Manager, Sales at Thumbtack from May 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing Thumbtack's mid-market, outbound, and internal up-sale/cross-sale sales processes and grew the team from 7 Account Executives to 30. Sam also partnered with newly established XFN Teams to develop and organizing Thumbtack's sales org career progression and leveling process.

Before Thumbtack, Sam was the Director Of Business Development at Boomsourcing.com from August 2017 to May 2018 where they developed the strategic vision, GTM strategy, and managed process implementation with 50+ AEs (remote and direct) while closing national and international clients (VC backed early & late-stage startups).

Prior to that, Sam was an Account Executive, Direct Sales Expert & Pest Control Guru at SalesRabbit, Inc. from August 2016 to August 2017. And before that they were Regional Manager, Sales at Vantage Marketing from January 2012 to December 2016. Their first role in sales was as Team Leader, Sales at Alterra Pest Control from August 2012 to August 2013.

Sam Wilson has a background in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Utah Valley University. Sam is also a Black Belt (Professor) in Anatomy and Physics from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
