Sean Rust

Sean Rust is a seasoned real estate professional currently serving as Vice President of Development at NexMetro Communities since January 2022, focusing on expanding the Atlanta market with innovative Build-to-Rent communities. Rust's extensive experience includes a tenure as Senior Development Manager at NexMetro, overseeing the company's entrance into the Atlanta MSA, as well as a role as Development Manager, collaborating on various projects in Florida. Prior to NexMetro, Rust operated as Managing Partner at Rust Real Estate, LLC, where responsibilities included day-to-day operations and leading commercial development deals. Additional experience includes Project Manager at Dales & Affiliates, managing construction projects, and Research Analyst at Econsult Solutions, conducting economic feasibility studies. Rust earned a Doctor of Law from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Temple University.
