John Baer

John Baer has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. John started their career at NBCUniversal, Inc. as a Page in 2006. John then worked as an Assistant Feature Literary Agent at The Gersh Agency in 2007. Following that, they served as a Producer Assistant at Platinum Dunes/Bay Films from 2007 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Digital Domain as a VFX Coordinator until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at PIXOMONDO in various roles including Digital Production Manager, VFX Producer, and Chief Operating Officer/Executive Producer. Currently, they are part of NEXODUS as the Managing Director/Founding Member since 2019 and holds the position of CEO/Founding Member since December 2020.

John Baer attended the University of Cincinnati from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Electronic Media. During their time at the university, they also pursued a minor in Business at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. In 2014, John Baer briefly attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where they studied to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
